Maintenance & Repair: Work for a Recession-Proof Company and Learn a Career in Property Management! Hello there! We are looking for a new member of our team to be a Maintenance Technician. We are a property management company based in San Francisco. Our firm manages properties mostly in San Francisco, but in surrounding counties also. We are currently in our 22nd year of operation! Your mission, should you choose to take it, is to help us keep all of our properties in top condition. We care for the rental properties of our owner-clients, on an ongoing basis. Property management is a great profession, and it might be your calling! The Position In this position, you would be driving a company truck to our managed properties, performing various maintenance services, such as: ● Household repairs ● Landscape maintenance ● Lock changes ● Painting ● Property inspections ● Pickups and Deliveries ● Other related tasks In addition to those maintenance services, a certain proportion of the work will include: ● Form completion and processing ● Deliveries/pickups ● Property inspections ● Walk-through inspections ● Other related duties NOTE: If you have a limited skill set for these duties, we may provide some training, if you can demonstrate ability and interest Requirements ● Good people skills ● Valid Drivers license with good driving record ● Must allow thorough background check ● Use of Smart phone (reimbursement of charges for phone use) ● Good understanding of current information technology and use of devices ● In good physical condition Employment Details Employment Status: This is an hourly employee position, with income fully reported and taxes deducted. No contract-employment, and no under-the-table, no “off-the-books” payment is allowed. Benefits: Health care stipend; 401K, credit for cell phone use Pay: $22-$25/hr to start, PT to FT, depending on experience/aptitude Parking garage. Company vehicle will be garaged at either Pacifica CA or San Francisco, CA. Your vehicle is allowed to park there when company vehicle is in use. Path of Advancement. We like to promote from within, and this is not a dead-end job. Normal path for advancement would be to Maintenance Manager position, or possibly Property Manager IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT!
