SANTA MONICA, CA — BookMonster in Santa Monica will close permanently, the company announced this week.
Its last day open to the public is April 11 and everything is 50% off at the store until the closing date.
The independent bookstore is the largest in Santa Monica and has sold used books, CDs, DVDs and gifts for about four years, the company told Patch. It's one of many businesses in downtown Santa Monica that has closed during the pandemic.
The store at 212 Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Curbside pickup is available by calling 424-238-8576 or by emailing [email protected].
