So republicans want it both ways. They claim to care about election security first and foremost but then the argue against a secure consistent uniform strategy for voting. The least secure way to hold an election is the willie nillie state by state way we are doing it now. Republicans obviously agree be us they are working desperately for reform in a few states. The electoral college is antiquated and useless but the republicans need it or they will lose the wee bit of power they still have. Conservatives might as well throw in the towel. Your party is cooked. Stuffy old conservatives are dying off and the young generation are all democrats. Trump scared a huge number of people away from the Republican Party. The best strategy for conservatives now would be to abolish both parties. You are never going to get the numbers back. No political parties. No right wing. No left wing. Every person votes for the candidate that they see most fit out of the options.
