Looking for a good home for a 1 year old Sheepdog

Description
Hi Craiglisters, It saddens me to be writing this ad but in fairness to our amazing 1 year old Sheepdog we are looking for a loving home to adopt him. Reason we are looking to re-home: Sheepdogs are high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and a big yard for them to play in. When COVID first started I was able to walk him an hour per day but now that my work is picking back up I unfortunately do not have enough time to take care of him. Furthermore, because our back yard is not large enough for him to openly run, without two long walks per day he is not getting the exercise he deserves. A little about him: His name is Jax. He turned 1 years old the end of January. He is an amazing dog. Extremely kind, loving, good with people, great with kids, good with other animals, and an all around teddy bear. He is neutered, is up-to-date on all his shots, and has been on a premium diet since we adopted him at 8 weeks. He is a purebred sheepdog. No we do not have papers for him. He is pretty well trained. He knows sit, come, stay, and place. He does not bark that much, but if he is left outside and knows you are inside he will bark to get your attention. He is around 70 pounds now and when his hair is long he looks like he is well over 100 pounds. With long hair he looks like a giant teddy bear. I just got him a summer cut so his hair is very short now. This breed of dogs barely sheds when their hair is long. I'm sure there is more but feel free to call with any additional questions. As for re-homing: We are going to be very picky with who we allow to adopt him. You must have a large yard. He needs room to run. You must be able to take him on daily walks. Prior experience with sheepdogs is preferable. You must maintain a premium diet for him. We will ask for you to come meet him and interact with him first. To ensure he goes to a home that can afford to properly take care of this type of breed we are asking for a $500 re-homing fee. We paid nearly $2000 when we adopted him but what's more important than us recouping our money is finding him a good home. I will include a very large dog crate, a high-end dog door, toys, about a months worth of food, and I'm sure a bunch of other things we have for him. Please call Michael ) to schedule a visit with Jax or for any questions. Pictures of Jax are recent, but obviously a few are right before his haircut. Anyone looking for a sheepadoodle, poodle, doodle, golden retriever, labrador, or family friendly dog should reach out!
