re:There is no down side to federal standards for voting.

Description

The first downside is eliminating State's rights which is no small thing. Federal standards can be changed at the whim of Congress to favor one Party over the other setting up a virtual unchallengeable autocracy by creating conditions institutionalizing voter fraud. You can't assume or be guaranteed either Democrats or Republicans will set up federal standards that don't favor themselves. Every eligible American should have a secure way to vote. Creating federal standards for voting would dramatically reduce the opportunity for voter fraud. Federal voting guidelines would reduce the risk of ballot tampering. Federal voting would reduce the responsible parties for election safety by 95%. Secure ballots, verified votes by verified voters sent directly to one location for counting under extra secure conditions. Why didn’t the republicans think of that??? Oh right,.. because they want to pick and choose which areas to claim as safe and secure votes. Republicans have never been concerned with accuracy. They are only concerned with winning even if that includes lies and manipulating the system.
