The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting outgoing customer orders and verifying accuracy in paperwork, appearance, and functionality of the unit. Due to the high volume of paperwork, the individual must be highly detail oriented and organized to ensure essential requirements for an order are fulfilled. This position requires an employee who is self-motivated and highly driven with the ability to manage a varied array of projects and responsibilities. The individual will need to be ready to respond immediately to a variety of customer and internal tasks. Essential Job Functions: • Inspect outgoing orders in a timely manner while ensuring top quality • Efficient and effective written and verbal communication within the department • Prioritize incoming orders to align with ship dates to ensure workload efficiency • Effectively manage data entry and generate certificates • Work well under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines efficiently • Respond to phone calls from internal departments and occasionally from customers Job Qualifications: • Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Products Intermediate (Outlook, Word and Excel). • Must be able to work with a database programand have great customer service skills • Must be responsible, reliable with accuracy and strong attention to timelines • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication, written and time management skills • Must be able to multi-task in a constantly changing, fast paced environment • Must work effectively in a team, have advanced problem-solving abilities, and work independently with minimal supervision • Must learn and understand the importance of Q.D.P.I.C.S. (Quality, Delivery, Profit, Innovation, and Customer Service) • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher, preferred. Physical Requirement: • Repetitive pushing, pulling, carrying and lifting up to 40 lbs. • Frequent standing walking, bending, twisting, lifting • Normal vision, hearing sensitivity, good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity is necessary in position • Fast-paced manufacturing work environment Other tasks: This position must be flexible with job duties and show willingness for cross-training in order help in other departments as needed.
