Support African self determination by joining the Uhuru Furniture outreach program We appreciate your interest in volunteering with Uhuru Furniture. Our volunteers are a very important part of our organization. We are a project of the African People's Education & Defense Fund, a non-profit organization defending the human and civil rights of the black community and building programs and institutions that address the grave disparities in health, education and economic development in the community. Please sign up for an orientation which takes an hour over Zoom, where you will learn more about the organization and then we will schedule your first outreach shift. We thank you for your support during this crisis, but now, more than ever, we need you, our supporters to rally and help the black community become more self-reliant and self-determining.
