Walk It Off Girl does a variety of events that allows women to connect and celebrate where they are and get rid of the weight of the world. Walk It Off Girl Bay Bridge - April 10, 2021While leading and coaching more than 1000 women on a 100 Day, 50 Day , 30 Day and the most recent 21 Day Challenge the WIOG Events team wanted to make sure that in between challenges there was things for all the women to do to stay motivated about their own well being. . Research shows that 57.6% of African American women are obese, and that is a lot of people and we can do something about this number. Walk It Off Girl is a Mindset Behavioral Modification Program Created by Dr. Lakita Long in 2009 after her many failed attempts of losing weight after the birth of her children. She finally got with her own program and in 2011 lost 50lbs. Success was short lived, because she stopped working the steps, she gained 35 pounds of it back. Battling consistently throughout the years, she did not make the next radical move until May 2017, where she vowed that she was going to get the weight off for good. She worked her program and lost 50lbs by December 2017. She wants everyone to experience the liberation that comes when you Walk It Off Girl. There are no short cuts and many emotional, mental and spiritual things come up for you when you do the walks... but they have changed the lives of 1000 women directly and more than 2000 indirectly in just 6 months!!Background of The Program Initiative: Walk It Off Girl: Get Rid of the Weight of the World is a Program of Inspiring You!
