Women Only Hiking Meditation and Brew Join landloper Shelley Osborn as she leads a women only (and kids welcome) guided walking meditation to introduce you and your family to some outdoor mindfulness practices. No previous experience necessary, this is a very beginner friendly experience to introduce easy movement and meditation practices to kids and parents alike! There will also be some fun arts and crafts for kiddos of all ages to enjoy. Looking for ways to engage your children in outdoor activities? Want to get to know some of the Mckinney parks and trails better? Want to spend some time outdoors meeting new people? This event is for you! From 3-5pm we will have some ice breaking games and then a guided family friendly mindfulness hike. After the hike, we will head to Tupps Brewery for some community and great beer! What you get - Guided hike and hiking meditation - One beer ticket to Tupps Brewery. - More swag, education and inspiration to get outside - Masks are not required but recommended if social distancing is not possible Kids are welcome and FREE! Weather disclosure: If the trails are closed due to weather, we will adjust as needed but will still have our event. If weather does not allow us to have our event at all, we will either refund your ticket price OR you can transfer to another event. (Also applies to COVID-19 cancellations)
