We are headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA and are looking for a Full Time, Non-Exempt Welder to join our amazing team! Under general supervision, the Welder will perform welding assignments to build a variety of subassemblies and finished products. The Welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. Using a variety of welding processes: spot welding, MIG, TIG, and brazing to join metals such as steel, galvanized steel, stainless, and aluminum. He/She will work from drawings and verbal instructions to perform welding operations and inspect work upon completion. He/She will perform related work such as flame cutting, grinding, beveling, and notching. He/She will utilize a variety of standard shop hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment. QUALIFICIATIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Under general supervision, fabricates component parts. -Operating machines including punch press, shear, press brake, graining machine, drill press, manual mills, saws, deburrs, and other hand or power equipment of similar complexity. -Read and interpret blueprints, production diagrams, and assembly drawings. -Inspect fabricated parts. -Use precision measuring instruments to inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -Proven experience as a welder -Ability to read, and interpret technical documents and drawings. -Ability to operate a variety of equipment to close tolerances, and use precision measuring instruments. -Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Two years of fabrication experience. -Two years of production welding experience. -Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS Welding certificate) will be a plus.
