Looking for a keys player or vocalist to jam with in the city We are looking for a keys player and/or a vocalist to come and jam with us on a somewhat regular basis. We have a studio with a Casio Privia piano, and a Hammond XK-3x + Leslie 147 but feel free to bring your own or any other gear you have. We have plenty of microphones and the whole room is rigged up for recording What we are looking for: Someone with decent chops, or at the very least some musical literacy. But what matters more is being dedicated and having fun. Someone who can jam well, respects volume dynamics, and can use their ears. While we have a few friends who play keys, we would like to find someone more dedicated to come and jam with us frequently (at their own will of course!) and fill the musical void. About us: we are 4 males ages 23-32 and we play everything from funk to rock to neo soul and jazz. Grateful Dead, rhcp, Allman Brothers, D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder. You name it. We’re open to any genre of music and are all over the place. 4 of us play guitar and bass, and one of us plays drums, keys, guitar, and bass. We also have a few drummers we play with regularly. I am in a band (that is currently on break due to covid) with one of the other guys, but the others have been in bands in the past, so we are looking for someone to fill the gap. We all banded together to create a studio where we can go in and jam at anytime, no matter who is in there. If this sounds like something you’d like to join or at least come check out, let me know.
