Well, the problem is many of the extremists are NOT being butted to the curb. They are on school boards, and on our city councils. And the weak-kneed follow along. Wasting even one iota of time on changing names on schools like they did in San Francisco, shows how extreme so many people have gotten. Denying the greatness of our Founding Fathers, telling all white people they are racist just because they are born white is racism on steroids. And people are teaching this crap to children in our schools. A lot of people hate the religious right, but do not stand up to the idiotic, racist, socialist extremism happening on our 'left coast' here. If the more sane around here refuse to stand up to the leftist extremism happening in our own communities, then don't complain about extremism ruining things. The extremist make is seem that every other person in the country either agrees or disagrees with them. The extremists on booths NEED this division within our nation. Without the division, these people would not have a “cause” to get riled up about. The reality is, the vast majority of people in this nation are at neither extreme. The vast majority of people land somewhere towards the middle. Personally, I could care less if a president is a republican or a democrat. As long as they do a good job, I am happy. As a non extremist, I realize that no president leading a nation of 330,000,000 people is going to make very person happy all of the time. A president should work to represent the majority in any given moment. If the president makes a decision that I do not agree with, i look at the bigger picture. No president can please all of the people all of the time. Thus far, Biden has done a good job of representing the masses. For example. According to quinipiac poll, 68% of americans including 37% of republicans agree with his 1.9 stimulus plan. Great. 68% is a clear majority. Make is so... do i personally gree with the package? I think it could be approved upon but move again, if the majority likes it, its better to put it into action than it is to keep kicking the can down the road. It seems about time that the NON extremists in this nation take back the narrative. People who do not represent the majority should not get the most air time.
