East Bay Commercial Tenant Improvement Contractor seeking candidates for various positions. Construction projects are geographically located are all over the SF Bay Area. Must be able to transport self to the job site. Journeymen Metal Stud Framers, Sheetrockers and Tapers • Metal Stud Framers: Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. Utilizing electric or hand tools to install wall systems, often working with materials like sheet rock, steel frames, and drywall. The primary job duties for this position involve sizing and cutting metal studs, installing tracks and walls, for future drywall work. • Sheetrockers: Apply drywall to walls or ceilings. Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building. Work with ceiling tile installers to build walls. • Tapers: prepare a wet compound, press it into joints, nail or screw holes in the drywall and cover the wet material with tape. Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints. *The Sheetrock Taper position requires Commercial Tenant Improvement experience.
